The United Nations in Peru

UNODC is part of a larger effort to offer a better future to the people of Peru. Many different UN agencies have been operating in Peru for many years, and together they represent what is called the United Nations System in Peru. The UN System in Peru is coordinated by the resident representative of the United Nations Development Programme in the country. The different agencies present in the field – FAO, UNAIDS, IMO, ILO, WHO, WFP, UNLIREC, UNFPA, UNESCO, UNICEF, UNOPS, UNDP (link to the Bulletin Naciones@Unidas.pe) – form an integrated network that operates for the future of Peru, while promoting the universal values of the UN Charter.
